One of the important properties for recruiting is their use of recruiting calendars. The recruiting calendars are there to promote the well-being of the student-athlete and ensure the fairness among schools. This particular calendar defines certain periods during the year in which recruiting may or may not occur in a particular place.

  • Contact period – coach may have face-to-face contact with either the parent or the student on campus.
  • Evaluation period – coaches watch the student athletes compete, without face-to-face contact
  • Quiet period – coaches do not watch or come in contact with either the parent or the student – athlete
  • Dead period – same as during the quiet period

Knowing which period it is of recruitment is crucial to ensure the future of your student athlete and we at College Prospects of America will surely help you with it.
